There are two kinds of service notes and they service different purposes.

 

Statement Notes

This single line note gives you a maximum of 50 characters of information about this service that will be printed on patient statements.

 

Service Notes

The service notes lets you enter up to 5,000 characters of notes concerning this service. You can print these notes for one service with the Print button on this tab. You can print a notes report for a range of service dates with the Print button on the patient list. Press F7 while on this field to check the spelling.

 

[Print] button

This button prints a service notes report for this note alone.
